ThesisIQ är en träningsmiljö inför din disputation. Den här sidan säger vad du får, vad du betalar för, och var gränsen går för vad appen kan svara för.
Kort sagt
- Opponenten är en språkmodell. Den tränar dig. Den bedömer dig inte, och ingenting den säger är ett omdöme om din avhandling.
- Ditt konto är din e-postadress. Du loggar in med en länk vi mejlar, inte med lösenord.
- En fri session ingår. Därefter kostar det, och priset och perioden står i appen innan du köper.
- Köpet går via App Store eller Google Play. De hanterar betalning, uppsägning, återbetalning och kvitton. Vi ser aldrig ditt kortnummer.
- Din text är din. Vi publicerar ingenting, och du raderar kontot själv från appen.

ThesisIQ is a training environment for your thesis defence. This page states what you get, what you pay for, and where the limit of what the app can answer for lies.
In short
- The opponent is a language model. It trains you. It does not assess you, and nothing it says is a judgement of your thesis.
- Your account is your email address. You sign in with a link we email you, not a password.
- One free session is included. After that it costs money, and the price and the period are shown in the app before you buy.
- The purchase goes through the App Store or Google Play. They handle payment, cancellation, refunds and receipts. We never see your card number.
- Your text is yours. We publish nothing, and you delete the account yourself from the app.

ThesisIQ is provided by FrontQ AB, Swedish company registration number 556645-8344. By using the app you accept these terms. Questions about the product go to support@thesisiq.se, questions about the company to info@frontq.se.
How your data is handled is set out in the Privacy policy, which applies alongside these terms.
Vad ThesisIQ är
En träningsmiljö. Du laddar upp din uppsats eller avhandling, och en språkmodell spelar opponent: den ställer frågor om det du faktiskt har skrivit, du svarar i tal eller text, och efter passet får du en återkoppling på hur du försvarade dig.
Vad ThesisIQ inte är
Opponenten är inte din opponent. Den är en övning. Frågorna, återkopplingen och genomlysningen av texten är träningsunderlag och appens egen läsning — inte ett betyg, inte en förhandsbedömning och inte ett besked om huruvida din avhandling håller.
Appen ger inte akademisk, juridisk eller ekonomisk rådgivning. Din handledare, din betygsnämnd och ditt lärosäte är de som avgör, och deras besked gäller före allt appen säger.
En språkmodell kan ha fel. Den kan missförstå ett stycke, ställa en fråga som bygger på en felläsning, eller formulera sig med mer säkerhet än underlaget bär. Läs det den skriver som ett övningsunderlag och inte som fakta om din text.
What ThesisIQ is
A training environment. You upload your paper or thesis, and a language model plays the opponent: it asks about what you have actually written, you answer by voice or in writing, and after the session you get feedback on how you defended it.
What ThesisIQ is not
The opponent is not your opponent. It is a rehearsal. The questions, the feedback and the reading of your text are training material and the app's own reading — not a grade, not a pre-assessment, and not a verdict on whether your thesis holds.
The app gives no academic, legal or financial advice. Your supervisor, your examining committee and your university are the ones who decide, and what they say overrides anything the app says.
A language model can be wrong. It can misread a passage, ask a question built on that misreading, or write with more confidence than the material carries. Read what it writes as something to practise against, not as fact about your text.
Ditt konto
Kontot är din e-postadress. Det finns inget lösenord: du skriver adressen, vi mejlar en länk, och länken loggar in dig. Den som kommer åt din e-post kommer åt ditt konto, så skydda mejlen som du skulle skyddat ett lösenord.
Kontot är ditt personligen. Du får inte låta någon annan använda det, och ett köp hör till det konto som gjorde det.
Du raderar kontot själv, i appen under Inställningar → Dina uppgifter → Radera mitt konto. Det tar med sig din text, dina pass och din återkoppling. Ett köp som redan är gjort återbetalas inte av att kontot raderas; återbetalning är butikens sak.
Vi kan stänga av ett konto som används för att angripa tjänsten, kringgå betalning eller ladda upp text någon annan äger. Vi gör det inte för att du tränar mycket.
Your account
The account is your email address. There is no password: you type the address, we email a link, and the link signs you in. Whoever can read your email can reach your account, so protect the mailbox as you would a password.
The account is personal to you. You may not let somebody else use it, and a purchase belongs to the account that made it.
You delete the account yourself, in the app under Settings → Your data → Delete my account. It takes your text, your sessions and your feedback with it. Deleting the account does not refund a purchase already made; refunds are the store's business.
We may close an account used to attack the service, to get around paying, or to upload text somebody else owns. We will not close one because you practise a lot.
Texten du laddar upp
Din text förblir din. Vi gör inga anspråk på den, publicerar den inte och använder den inte för att träna någon modell. Vad som händer med den tekniskt står i Integritetspolicyn.
Du ansvarar för att du har rätt att ladda upp den. Är avhandlingen skriven med någon annan, eller innehåller den material du inte äger, är det din sak att ha det klart innan den går in i appen.
Ladda inte upp personuppgifter om andra som inte hör hemma i texten, och inte material som omfattas av sekretess du inte får bryta.
The text you upload
Your text stays yours. We claim nothing in it, do not publish it, and do not use it to train any model. What happens to it technically is set out in the Privacy policy.
You are responsible for having the right to upload it. If the thesis was written with somebody else, or contains material you do not own, settling that is yours to do before it goes into the app.
Do not upload personal data about other people that does not belong in the text, and do not upload material under a confidentiality you are not free to break.
Vad som kostar
En fri session ingår, en gång per konto. Därefter köper du antingen en prenumeration eller ett pass.
- Prenumerationen löper per månad och förnyas automatiskt tills du säger upp den. Den ger tillgång så länge den löper.
- Passet är ett engångsköp som gäller ett bestämt antal dagar. Det börjar inte räkna förrän du startar det, och det förnyas inte. Ett köpt pass som ligger ostartat brinner inte inne.
Priset, perioden och vad som ingår står i appen innan du köper, på den nivå och den plan du väljer. Priset kan skilja mellan länder och mellan butikerna.
Går du från en plan till en annan hanteras bytet av butiken, som också avgör vad som avräknas mot vad du redan betalat.
Lärosäten och institutioner kan i stället faktureras och få en åtkomstkod. Då gäller det avtal som tecknades, och koden ger tillgång under den tid det säger.
What costs money
One free session is included, once per account. After that you buy either a subscription or a pass.
- The subscription runs monthly and renews automatically until you cancel it. It gives access for as long as it runs.
- The pass is a one-time purchase good for a fixed number of days. It does not start counting until you start it, and it does not renew. A pass bought and left unstarted does not burn.
The price, the period and what is included are shown in the app before you buy, for the level and plan you choose. Prices may differ between countries and between the two stores.
Moving from one plan to another is handled by the store, which also decides what is set off against what you have already paid.
Universities and institutions may instead be invoiced and given an access code. The agreement signed then applies, and the code gives access for the time it states.
Betalning, uppsägning och återbetalning
Köpet görs i App Store eller Google Play. Det är de som tar betalt, och de som hanterar uppsägning, återbetalning och kvitton. Vi tar aldrig emot ditt kortnummer.
En prenumeration förnyas automatiskt vid slutet av varje period om du inte säger upp den minst 24 timmar innan. Du säger upp den i butikens egna inställningar — i App Store under Prenumerationer i ditt Apple-konto, i Google Play under Prenumerationer. Att radera appen säger inte upp den.
Säger du upp fortsätter tillgången till periodens slut, och förnyas sedan inte. Vi återbetalar inte i efterhand för dagar du inte använde; begär du återbetalning gör du det hos butiken, och deras villkor avgör.
Ett pass går inte att säga upp, eftersom det inte förnyas. Det tar slut när dagarna är slut.
Payment, cancellation and refunds
The purchase is made in the App Store or Google Play. They take the payment, and they handle cancellation, refunds and receipts. We never receive your card number.
A subscription renews automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before. You cancel it in the store's own settings — in the App Store under Subscriptions in your Apple Account, in Google Play under Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel it.
If you cancel, access continues to the end of the period and then does not renew. We do not refund afterwards for days you did not use; if you want a refund you ask the store, and their terms decide.
A pass cannot be cancelled, because it does not renew. It ends when the days end.
Tillgänglighet
Ett träningspass kräver nätverk: opponenten skrivs på vår server, inte i telefonen. Vi strävar efter att tjänsten ska vara tillgänglig, men lämnar inga garantier om drifttid, och den kan behöva tas ur drift för underhåll.
Vi utvecklar appen löpande och kan ändra, lägga till och ta bort funktioner. Tar vi bort något du betalat för mitt i en period, och det väsentligt förändrar vad du köpte, hör av dig så löser vi det.
Availability
A training session needs a network: the opponent is written on our server, not on the phone. We aim for the service to be available, but make no guarantee of uptime, and it may need to be taken down for maintenance.
We develop the app continuously and may change, add and remove features. If we remove something you paid for in the middle of a period, and it materially changes what you bought, get in touch and we will sort it out.
Ansvarsbegränsning
Appen tillhandahålls i befintligt skick. FrontQ AB ansvarar inte för utfallet av din disputation, för beslut du fattar med appen som underlag, eller för förlust av uppgifter, i den utsträckning lagen tillåter en sådan begränsning.
Tvingande konsumenträttslig lagstiftning gäller före dessa villkor. Är du konsument har du de rättigheter svensk lag ger dig, oavsett vad som står här.
Immateriella rättigheter
Appen, dess frågeställningar och dess texter tillhör FrontQ AB. Det du själv skriver och laddar upp är ditt.
Om villkoren ändras
Ändrar vi villkoren skrivs den här sidan om och datumet högst upp ändras. Gäller ändringen något väsentligt för dig som redan betalat, säger vi till i appen innan den börjar gälla.
Tillämplig lag
Svensk lag gäller. Är du konsument kan du alltid vända dig till Allmänna reklamationsnämnden eller till domstol där du bor.
Limitation of liability
The app is provided as it is. FrontQ AB is not responsible for the outcome of your defence, for decisions you make on the strength of the app, or for loss of data, to the extent the law allows such a limitation.
Mandatory consumer law applies ahead of these terms. If you are a consumer you have the rights Swedish law gives you, whatever this page says.
Intellectual property
The app, the questions it asks and the text it contains belong to FrontQ AB. What you write and upload yourself is yours.
If these terms change
If we change the terms, this page is rewritten and the date at the top changes. If the change materially affects you and you have already paid, we say so in the app before it takes effect.
Governing law
Swedish law applies. If you are a consumer you may always go to the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN) or to a court where you live.
